Seymour is in such a great location being a regional hub for the district with a range of social services with an abundance of medical options including the Seymour Hospital, Government Agency’s Humans Services and Vic Roads along with great Shopping with all major supermarkets available. The rail line junction with multiple daily services to Melbourne for the daily commute along with services to access all of Australia. Seymour is also home to the intersection of the Hume Freeway and the Goulburn Valley Highway providing the best road access to the major arterial roads in Victoria. All within striking distance of the major regional centres of Bendigo, Shepparton and the Victorian capital Melbourne all only 1 hour away. Not forgetting our close partners Nagambie, Avenel and Tallarook, with magnificent wineries, Wine X Sam, Fowels Wine, Tahbilk, Mitchelton, David Traeger, days could be spent exploring a winery trail. Or maybe a 20 minute drive to Nagambie Lake for International rowing and other boating activities. With endless opportunities let your imagination run wild.

Located at our rear entrance is the newly open Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk. It commemorates the service of all that played there part in the history of Australia‘s involvement in Vietnam. The digi glass wall is something to behold when back lit at night - this is a site not to be missed.

Goulburn River
The Goulburn River is one of Victoria‘s major rivers. Originating near Mount Buller and ending in the Murray River. The River section near Seymour provides great fishing for trout and Cod.

Seymour Heritage Rail
Seymour Railway Heritage Centre Inc. (SRHC) was formed in 1983 by a group of railwaymen from the former Seymour Locomotive Depot, closed under rationalisation of rail services in Victoria. The unique skills & knowledge attained over the years was put to good use forming the SRHC.

Army Tank Museum
The museum now has more than 70 Armoured Fighting Vehicles on display in Hopkins Barracks, the home of Australian Armour at Puckapunyal, Victoria.
